If you’ve discovered counterfeit products on Amazon using your brand, the first thing to do is check if you’re enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry. It’s a program that gives you access to tools designed to protect your intellectual property. To join, you’ll need a registered trademark and proof that you own or represent the brand. If you’re not part of it yet, enrolling is a great first step.

Once you’re in the Brand Registry, you can use their “Report a Violation” tool. This makes it easy to flag any listings that misuse your brand. All you need is the URL of the offending product and a description of what’s wrong. Adding evidence, like screenshots or proof that the product is fake, can really help.

If you’re not in the registry, don’t worry—you can still report counterfeit items using Amazon’s general infringement form. You’ll need to share similar details, like the product listing and why it’s a counterfeit. Amazon takes these reports seriously, so it’s worth taking the time to report any issues.
